Do I need a startup idea to participate in Ideathon?

You don’t need any idea! The workshops at Ideathon are to help you have an idea of your own

Is there any shortlisting for participation?

There is no shortlisting before and during the event.

Is it an individual or a group event?

Ideathon is a group event. Participants can come in groups of 1-4.

What to do to participate in Ideathon?

It is open to all the students of IITM. Simply fill the registration form by clicking here.

How does one get preincubated in Nirmaan through Ideathon?

The participants will have to submit the onboarding application of Nirmaan The reports made during Ideathon will also be considered for the final selection.

How does Peer Validation work?

Based on the ideas submitted by participants in report 1, they will be grouped according to the sector relevant to their idea. Here you will have a group of like-minded individuals who can exchange suggestions with each other, and your idea will be subject to a proactive discussion that will help you validate your idea.
